Salt Lake City Stallions vs. San Diego Fleet

An incredible game 5 for the AAF San Diego Fleet when the Salt Lake City Stallions came into SDCCU Stadium. After taking an early lead the Stallions seemed like a lock for their second victory of the season. The Fleet’s offense struggled early on with miscues from newly promoted quarterback Mike Bercovici and it would appear that SLC would carry the game. However it was the performance of San Diego’s own Kameron Kelly with three interceptions that would bring the Fleet back from nowhere. A late gasp from the Stallions saw them retake the lead with time running out. The Fleet would raise up and complete a long pass to put them within field goal range. With time running out, the Fleet’s kicker Donny Hageman nailed a 44 yard kick that sealed the victory 25-27 and move the Fleet to 3-2 on the season.
